2013 Kentucky Engagement Conference
Eastern Kentucky University is proud to host the 2013 Kentucky Engagement Conference in Richmond, Kentucky. The conference will be held on Wednesday, November 6, in the Carl D. Perkins Building on EKU's Richmond campus.
This year's conference theme is "The Impact of Engagement: Using Data to Make a Difference."
The Kentucky Engagement Conference is planned each year by the host school with the assistance of a statewide planning committee consisting of representatives from colleges and universities across the state of Kentucky (including WKU, EKU, NKU, Murray, Morehead, Louisville, UK, KSU, and KCTCS), Kentucky Campus Compact, the Council on Postsecondary Education, and the Kentucky Secretary of State's office.
The conference is held annually to bring together faculty, staff, and students to discuss issues related to community engagement, service learning, civic health, community-based research, and related topics.
