Middle School Group Tour Information
Eastern Kentucky University has a rich and proud tradition of providing service to the southeastern region of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The office of Regional Stewardship is committed to supporting that tradition by assisting the Office of Admissions with campus group tours for middle school students.
Criteria:
- Schools must be in EKU’s 22 county service region (Bell, Boyle, Casey, Clay, Estill, Garrard, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Lee, Leslie, Lincoln, McCreary, Madison, Owsley, Perry, Powell, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne, and Whitley Counties).
- Preference will be given to GearUP schools.
Mask Policy:
Mask coverings are currently optional in non-instructional spaces.
Procedure:
Middle Schools will schedule tours by contacting the Regional Stewardship Office and completing the middle school group tour request form (found below).
Student interns with the Office of Regional Stewardship will serve as your tour guide. Due to student classes, tour group times and availability are limited.
Middle School tours are offered during the fall and spring semesters during the University’s regular business hours.
Tours will not be available during EKU’s fall break, winter break, spring break, or any other scheduled University closures.
Spring 2023 Tour Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 12:30 - 4:30.
Dates book quickly and we cannot guarantee your preferred dates will be available.
Spring tours will not be scheduled after May 5, 2023. Tours will resume September 2023.
High School Tours:
The office of Regional Stewardship is currenly only assisting with Middle School group tours. If you would like to schedule a group tour for high school students, please visit:
