Bio
Maggie is the Regional Stewardship Coordinator at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU).
Before joining EKU, Maggie served as the Programs Director for a regional non-profit tourism marketing organization.
Maggie began her career in the broadcast news industry. She was the Executive Producer at WYMT-TV in Hazard, KY. Her Communications background also includes two years as the 11pm producer for WKYT-TV in Lexington, KY.
Maggie received her Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in Community Development from Eastern Kentucky University. Bill completed her undergraduate degree at Morehead State University, receiving a BA in Communications.
As Regional Stewardship Coordinator, Maggie leads the E-Mentor team which includes a full time program facilitator and 10 student interns. In addition to the E-Mentor program, Maggie works to build relationships and form partnerships throughout Eastern Kentucky University’s 22 county service region, connecting communities with University resources and services. She also supervises the Office of Regional Stewardship’s successful team of student interns working to provide support to numerous nonprofit organizations in eastern Kentucky.
